In keeping with tradition, the Department of Communication at West Texas A&M University hosted its annual awards night on April 27 – but virtually.
The awards night recognizes the outstanding achievements of undergraduate and graduate students in the communication studies program. Graduating seniors and graduate students were featured in another presentation.
As part of the virtual conference, viewers watched a slideshow highlighting departmental activities for 2019-2020. Departmental faculty presented awards through a WebEx Conference.

As faculty members logged on to the virtual meeting, several of them welcomed students and told them they were happy to “see” them. As the meeting ended, graduating seniors and graduate students were invited to give some parting remarks.
