Local authorities are seeking the public’s help regarding an investigation into a burglary in downtown Amarillo.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers were called on April 6th to the Barfield Hotel building at 600 South Polk on the report of a burglary. Between 10AM on Sunday, April 5th and 7AM on Monday, April 6th, someone reportedly forced entry into a gated lot and then into the building. Several construction items and power tools were stolen from the property.
APD asks that anyone with knowledge of the incident or who may have seen a person or vehicle at that location during the noted times call APD or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400.
