Southbound traffic on Coulter Street has been reduced to one lane Thursday to allow repair work on a water main near the intersection of 34th Ave. and Coulter Street.

The repair project is part of additional work on the water main infrastructure caused by a water main break at Imperial Street and 34th Ave.

Motorists are asked to drive carefully through the area. The City of Amarillo thanks residents and motorists in advance for their patience during the repair project. The city will work hard to minimize any adverse effects of this closure to motorists and residents.

Traffic on Coulter Street is scheduled resume as normal on Tuesday (May 19.)
