Authorities have released the name of the victim in a homicide that occurred on Wednesday.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, officers were dispatched on Wednesday, September 22 at 7:59 a.m. on the report a person shot inside of a residence in the 1100 block of Trigg Street. Officers located the victim in the house and attempted life-saving measures. The victim died at the scene.
