Voters in Panhandle ISD backed 2 of the district’s 3 bonds that were placed on the November 7th ballot.
Proposition A, a $13.1 million bond, which the district says is for high school and junior high renovations, playground upgrades, maintenance, new busses, career & technical education, and fire arts equipment, passed with 524 votes for and 288 votes against the measure.
Proposition C, a $500,000 bond, which the district says will be used for “student and teacher devices,” also passed. For that measure, 566 voted in favor and 288 voted against.
Proposition B, however, was not successful. That item, a $5.9 million bond for various stadium upgrades, failed with 399 votes in favor to 408 against.
