Finance Report Summary: Amarillo City Council Place Two 8 Day Report

On Friday, April 28th, candidates for local office filed their final reports ahead of the May 6th election. We’re working our way through reporting on the finance reports for candidates in each of the races for Amarillo City Council. Here is our rundown of the reports filed by candidates for Amarillo City Council Place Two:

Amarillo ISD employee Misty Vigil did not report any activity, while commercial teller Gabriel McHenry-Herrera’s only activity was spending $10 on business cards.

Insurance agent Don Tipps raised $5,101 during the reporting period, with his largest donor being the Amarillo Area Realtors PAC, which gave Tipps $2,000. Dipak and Sangita Patel gave $1,001 to Tipps, while Emmet & Nancy Rice, Chesney’s Whiskey Saloon, LLC, and Rory Schepisi each gave $500. Tipps’ expenses totaled $7,858, with his largest expense being to Mike Stevens. Tipps paid $6,450 to Stevens for web and social media services.
