Amarillo City Councilman Place 3 Tom Scherlen will be meeting with members of the public on Tuesday ahead of the upcoming regular meeting.

According to a social media post announcing the event, Scherlen will be available in Room 203 of City Hall from 2:00 to 2:45 pm. Scherlen plans to use the time to speak with citizens “about any type of city business.”

Tom Scherlen was elected to the council during the May 6th election last month. During his campaign, he listed “spending time with citizens of Amarillo” as one of his main priorities.

The regular meeting of Amarillo City Council is scheduled for 3:00 pm on Tuesday.
