Governor Greg Abbott is set to attend a meet & greet with State House District 87 candidate Caroline Fairly.

The meet & greet is scheduled to take place on Friday, February 2nd at Tyler’s Barbeque at 10:00 am.

Fairly, who is endorsed by Abbott, is running in a four-way race for the Republican nomination to replace outgoing State Representative Four Price to represent a district covering much of the norther Texas Panhandle region, including Potter County.

Fairly, a medical claims negotiator, is running against realtor Cindi Bulla, Perryton ISD Board Vice President Richard Beyea, and attorney Jesse Quackenbush. The primary is March 5th, with early voting beginning February 20th. In November, Fairly is expected to face presumptive Democratic Party nominee Timothy Gassaway.
