Q: Why did you decide to run for this office in 2022?

A: Our U.S. republic is in grave danger, and if Texas fails to enforce the law and protect our republican form of government and keep ourselves free from invasion, the nation will be lost. Our Attorney General has been compromised as has its integrity. Though the AG has taken some actions I would have, the offices integrity, work ethics of the AG must be restored. I will not be chasing after extra-marital affairs nor seeking assistance from donors with ethical problems I created.

Q: If elected, what will be your top three priorities in office?

A: Securing free and fair elections, securing the border, protecting parents.

Q: What is an issue you believe has gone overlooked in your race and how will you address it if elected?

A: Protecting children from gender change procedures, surgeries, or medications, that create potentially irreversible adverse effects that amount to child abuse. For some reason, the current Attorney General has failed to take action to protect such children. Also, the Attorney General filed a law suit against swing states after the 2020 election for changing election laws without using their state legislatures though the US Constitution required it, yet, our Texas AG knew that Texas had done the exact same thing those states did, thereby dooming the suit from the very start. He also knew that he had done nothing to advise the Texas Governor against changing election laws without the legislature acting.

Q: Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position?

A: Though I had not thought about it until this year when the need for a new Attorney General in Texas became so apparent, my entire adult life has prepared me to be the most experienced Attorney General in recent history.

Mike Fields - Democratic Candidate for Attorney General

George P. Bush - Republican Candidate for Attorney General
