Q: Why did you decide to run for this office in 2021?

A: To help build pathways towards success for Every Student in AISD. I believe that diversity on the school board is a formula for success for AISD.

Q: If elected, what will be your top three priorities in office?

A: 1. Continue to build a better school system through the stated core values of AISD.

2. Bring attention to and help those 9% of students in my community bridge the gap in test scores and 4 year college attendance.

3. Help create and build relationships with community in at risk areas.

Q: In what cases would you support efforts to raise property taxes? Please explain.

A: If it benefits ALL students in AISD.

Q: What is an issue you believe has gone overlooked in your race and how will you address it if elected?

A: There not been a sufficient answer to the the continued low test scores among the African American students. How can a relationship be formed between the school district and those communities desperately behind?

Q: Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position?

A: As a father and community leader, I am passionate about our children in AISD getting every opportunity to succeed. I believe I can help AISD build pathways for our children's future. I have a diverse background and have the abilty to reach and communicate to any neighborhood or side of town. I come from a family with a rich history of educators and community leaders both past and present.
