Why did you decide to run for this office in 2024?

I believe that the best government is the government closest to the people. It is more responsive and representative. That is truly where it is “government of the people, by the people, for the people”. That would be me if elected. I’m around many Randall County citizens on a daily basis in my business.

I want to be a part of the leadership in this community that I have fallen in love with. The people here are amazing: you hold the door open for others, the kids have manners, you let people into traffic, you speak words of life and kindness. I am not a politician, but I feel like now is the time for regular citizens to stand up, step out and serve their communities. I would like to serve my fellow Randall County citizens by being a part of the Commissioner’s Court to ensure it continues its strong, conservative direction and decisions. There is an open seat in Randall County, Precinct 1, and it needs to be filled with another conservative with the county’s best interests at heart.

If elected, what will be your top three priorities in office?

My top three priorities will be:

1. Keep Randall County going in the direction it’s currently going. Change isn’t always necessary. We have a very conservative court that is very fiscally responsible, and it’s imperative that it stays that way.

2. Make sure that we continue to have the necessary resources to manage infrastructure issues, roads, police, fire, etc. since we will continue facing growth issues as a county.

3. Listen to and represent the needs and concerns of the people who have elected us. I want to be in touch with their needs, concerns, and desires when it comes to the direction and decisions for Randall County.

What is an issue you believe has gone overlooked in your race and how will you address it if elected?

I believe the current Commissioner’s Court has their finger on the pulse and is doing a great job. They seem to be very aware of and active with the challenges and issues of Randall County. I’m sure there are many issues that the Commissioners deal with that the general public isn’t privy to all the details. I don’t see a particular issue that seems to have been overlooked at this time, but I will be looking for anything that needs to be addressed if I am elected.

Do you have any notable endorsements you would like to highlight for voters?

Why are you the best candidate for voters to support for this position?

I have been an entrepreneur for over 35 years with experience in all the aspects of running a business. I view Randall County as a business with 147,000 people, 550 employees, 800 miles of road, and an annual budget of $125 million with $40 million in debt. Having faced numerous challenges by owning and running a variety of different companies myself, I feel I have the qualifications to wisely and effectively deal with the challenges that Randall County will face and make the hard decisions and tough choices that will have to be made.

Not only do I have knowledge and experience that will be an asset to the position, I will also have the opportunity to talk with my constituents on a regular basis out at Shark Beach. I regularly talk to up to over 1000 locals in a week. I will be a leader who listens to and represents the people in my precinct.
