Amarillo College's Presidential Scholars will be going to Japan, starting on January 4th.
13 Amarillo College students will be making the excursion to Japan, as part of the AC Presidential Scholars program. The students will be accompanied by Leslie Graham and Bob Austin, both of AC, during their 11-day trip.
The students will visit Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. Students will also ride in the bullet train and visit Hiroshima.
“Our international travel program is truly unique and life-changing. I’m not aware of any other community colleges that are doing this.” Bob Austin said in an AC press release.
