John King and Ray Wood, two MMA fighters from Nick's Fight Club, lost their matches during the Bellator 166 fights at the Winstar World Casino, on Friday night.
Fighting in Oklahoma, both fighters lost their matches by unanimous decision. King fought an undercard fight against Kinny Spotwood. In the final decision, King lost by cards of 29-28, 30-27, and 30-27.
Wood, who fought A.J. McKee, surprised the crowd with an early advantage over McKee. McKee quickly regained his footing and defeated Wood by a decision of 29-27, 30-25, and 30-27.
Although Ray "All Business" Wood lost his match with McKee, Wood's performance was widely praised. The Spike TV announcers commented that McKee's longest career match was Friday's against Wood.
