McCaul Comes Out Swinging in Race for Homeland Security Spot

Texas Congressman Michael McCaul is coming out swinging, as he is being considered a candidate to serve as Secretary of Homeland Security, under President-elect Donald Trump.

McCaul, a Dallas Republican, has recently been praised by former critic, Senator Ted Cruz. McCaul made waves, today, by suggesting that the Trump administration should establish a toll at the Mexican border, to help pay for the proposed border wall.

Once considered a potential challenger to Cruz's U.S. Senate seat, McCaul's possible Trump cabinet appointment is receiving the backing over several prominent Republicans, including Representative Jeff Duncan.
