Mason Crosby, kicker for the Green Bay Packers, has ties to the Texas Panhandle.
The kicker who kicked the winning field goal for the Packers, in the 34-31 nail biter win over the Dallas Cowboys, is from Lubbock, Texas. The 32-year-old kicker was brought to Green Bay in 2007, where he has since held at 79 percent completion rate as the Packers' placekicker.
While playing in the green uniform, Crosby's family made the trip to Dallas to see him compete with the Dallas Cowboys, according to the Green Bay Packers' website.
