APD Arrests Two After Serving Warrant

"On January 18th at 1:53 PM, Narcotics Unit agents from the Amarillo Police Department served a narcotics search warrant at 301 North Hughes Street. Officers arrested Richard Daniel Wilson Jr., BM 39, was in possession of a small quantity of what is believed to be methamphetamine.  He was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance- penalty group I (over one gram but less than four grams), a warrant for criminal non-support, four municipal court traffic warrants, and a county traffic warrant.  He was booked into the Potter County Detention Center.  Xavier Joshua Dixon BM 22 was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and one local municipal warrant through the city of Amarillo. He was booked into the Randall County Jail.  

Officers seized about five grams of what is believed to be cocaine and eleven grams of what is believed to be crack cocaine.  The two suspects that were arrested were not charged in connection with the seized narcotics."
