Representatives Filemon Vela and Vicente Gonzalez will be boycotting President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration.
Vela and Gonzalez's boycott was reported by the Texas Tribune. Vela and Gonzalez had both planned to attend the inauguration, but announced today their intentions to boycott the inauguration. Vela cited the treatment of his constituents at the inauguration as the reason for his boycotting. Gonzalez cited a lack of diversity in Trump's proposed cabinet.
