Mark Gonzalez, the new District Attorney in Nueces County, was sworn in while wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey.
Gonzalez, who defeated Republican incumbent Mark Skurka, was sworn in while wearing his favorite jersey, according to the Washington Post.
Gonzalez and his wife wore the jerseys to his private swearing in ceremony. Gonzalez later said that he would wear an appropriate suit for his formal public swearing in.
