The Amarillo Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place on Tuesday morning.
According to APD, officers responded to the call of a robbery in the 4600 block of South Virginia Street. Three victims reported that they had been inside of an apartment when they heard a knock at the door. When the victims opened the door, several people entered the apartment and held the victims at gunpoint while they rummaged through the location.
APD reports that the suspects hit the victims several times with the guns, causing minor injuries.
The suspects took multiple items from the victims and left. No suspect descriptions have been given and no arrests have been made in the case.
