Perryton ISD has named its new interim superintendent.
Ronnie Watson, former principal of Williams Intermediate School, has taken the role of interim superintendent for the Perryton Independent School District.
Watson is serving in the role, following the leave of Perryton ISD superintendent Robert Hall. Hall was placed on paid leave by the school district following sexual harassment claims made against him and assistant superintendent Keith Langfitt.
Following the appointment of Watson, Perryton ISD board members plan to meet tonight in executive session, followed by a regular meeting.
It is unclear what issues will be discussed during the executive session.
