Fake money has been circulating in Borger and police are warning residents to pay attention for any issues.
According to the Borger Police Department, prop money has been circulating the city. The money has been received by several businesses and residents in the area and has been passed off as real money.
The money, as described by the police department, looks similar to regular bills but says the phrase "Motion Picture Use Only" in place of "United States of America." In addition, all portraits of those on the bills, including President Ulysses S. Grant ($50) and Benjamin Franklin ($100) are not the same as those on real currency.
