Residents wanting to make their voices heard in the upcoming November constitutional amendment and bond elections must register by today to be eligible to vote.
The voter registration deadline for the November 7th elections in Texas is today, October 10th. Anyone who is an American citizen, not finally convicted of a felony and will be 18 years old as of election day is eligible to register.
In the November 7th elections, voters will decide on a series of amendments to the Texas Constitution and a $100 million bond election for the Amarillo Independent School District, which, if approved, will provide for improvements to campuses within the AISD system. Potter County voters will also consider approving a special sales tax item that is meant to fund improvements for the Potter County Fire Department.
