The deadline to register to vote is rapidly approaching in the Lone Star State.
On October 9th, the deadline will pass for voter registration in Texas. Voters who plan to cast ballots in the November election must be registered by this date in order to cast a ballot during the uniform election.
Voter registrations made after this date will not be eligible for the November uniform election, but will be eligible for future elections, beginning with the 2019 area municipal and school district elections.
Races appearing on the ballot this November will include races for the U.S. Senate, most statewide executive offices, most legislative seats, and some local offices.
