The campaign of one local attorney will be sponsoring a Veterans' Day celebration on Saturday.
On Saturday, the campaign of Randall County Court at Law candidate James Abbott will sponsor a Veterans' Day event to honor Quinton Phillips and his service in the United States armed forces. In addition, Abbott will present Phillips with a $500 scholarship for courses at Amarillo College.
Free hot dogs and soft drinks will be served to veterans and first responders by IDK Sports Bar and Grill.
The event will be held Saturday, November 11th at the John Stiff Memorial Park Gazebo. The event begins at 1pm and the certificate of appreciation will be presented to Phillips at 2pm.
