Sid Miller, the incumbent Texas Agriculture Commissioner, is scheduled to speak at the Amarillo Civic Center on November 29th.
On November 29th, as part of the Amarillo Farm and Ranch Show's Wheat Symposium, Miller will speak to those gathered to attend the convention. Miller's presentation will focus on the Texas Agricultural Outlook and will serve as the speech for attendees leading into lunch.
Miller currently serves as Agriculture Commissioner of Texas. Miller took office in 2015 and previously served as a member of the Texas House of Representatives. Miller has not yet filed for re-election in 2018.
Also speaking at the convention on November 29th will be Joe Outlaw from Texas A&M Ag and Food Policy Center; Josh Tonsager of the National Association of Wheat Growers; Tom Sell of Combest, Sell & Associates; economist Mark Welch and Potter County Commissioner Leon Church.
Jim Wiesemeyer of Informa Economics Inc. will deliver the keynote address.
The symposium will begin at 10am in the Grand Plaza of the Amarillo Civic Center on Wednesday, November 29th.
