State Senator Kel Seliger (R-Amarillo) has announced that he has earned the support of the pro-life Life PAC in his bid for re-election.
Seliger announced earlier this month that Kyleen Wright and Life PAC informed him that he has earned the group's nod for re-election in 2018. In the statement posted to the Seliger campaign site, the organization said that Seliger was endorsed because of his "excellent record" and "standing for women and babies."
The endorsement from Life PAC is not the only pro-life endorsement to be given out during the District 31 election. Last week, Texas Right to Life endorsed Amarillo restaurant owner Victor Leal and Midland attorney Mike Canon in their campaigns against Seliger.
Candidates have until December 11th to file for a place on the ballot. Republican primary election day is on March 6, 2018.
