Congressman Beto O'Rourke's campaign for the U.S. Senate will be holding a campaign event on Friday.
On Friday night, O'Rourke's senate campaign will host an event to train supporters for door knocking and other events. Supporters of O'Rourke will gather at the Pipe Fitters' Union Hall on 7th Avenue to prepare for the upcoming election season.
O'Rourke is running for the Democratic nomination for the Texas U.S. Senate seat in 2018. An El Paso native, O'Rourke is facing primary opponents in Edward Kimbrough and Sema Hernandez. The winner of the Democratic nomination will face the Republican nominee in November. Republican Ted Cruz is the incumbent.
