O'Rourke Coming Back to Amarillo

Beto O'Rourke is coming to Amarillo for another campaign stop ahead of the November general election.

O'Rourke, an El Paso Congressman and Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate, will be visiting Amarillo on July 31st for a Beers for Beto fundraiser at the Six Car Pub & Brewery. Admission is $25 per person, according to Indivisible Amarillo and tickets will be available through BetoforTexas.com.

This event will mark yet another trip to the Amarillo area for the El Paso Democrat. Since announcing his candidacy for the Senate last year, the Democrat has made several trips to Amarillo, including one to the Canyon Fourth of July celebration last year. O'Rourke is the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate this year, facing Republican incumbent Ted Cruz and Libertarian candidate Neal Dikeman.

In addition to O'Rourke's Beers for Beto fundraiser, the Democrat is also planning a town hall in Muleshoe on July 31st and another in Pampa on August 1st. Information on those events are available through betofortexas.com.
