The City of Canyon is seeking members for its board of city development.
According to information from the City of Canyon, Canyon residents are invited to submit applications for a spot on the board of city development. The board is responsible for the recommendation of the use of tax dollars to promote Canyon. All five members of the board are appointed by the Canyon City Commission.
In addition, applicants are needed for the zoning board of adjustment and the parks and open spaces recreation board.
Applications are needed before the end of 2017, as the Canyon City Commission plans to make appointments some time in 2018.
