The Texas Department of Transportation has announced a series of traffic changes beginning today.
According to information from TxDOT, Bell Street will reopen to Amarillo motorists in all directions. In addition, the the main lanes of SL 335 from the BNSF railway bridge to the west side of the Western Street bridge will be opened. Frontage roads will also be opened from Georgia Street to Bell Street.
TxDOT is also reminding drivers that there will be no left turns onto SL 335 when coming from the side streets or private drives. Access to schools along SL 335 using Valleyview Drive and Lamount Drive will also be changing.
