Amarillo native Aaron Watson has earned a spot on the top ten songs on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
In the new rankings released by Billboard, Watson is continuing to climb the Billboard charts with his hit "Outta Style." The song that some are crediting with Watson's breakout into mainstream country, continues to climb the charts, up from number eleven last week.
The chart is currently dominated by Blake Shelton and his recently released hit "I'll Name The Dogs." Shelton edged out Luke Bryan's "Light It Up" to claim number one on the chart this week.
In addition to Watson's good fortunes on the Country Airplay chart, the Amarillo native continues to hold his positioning on another Billboard country chart. Watson is currently holding the position of number 25 on the Top Country Songs chart, ahead of Brett Eldredge's "The Long Way." "Meant to Be" by Bebe Rexha & Florida Georgia Line is currently holding number one on that chart.
Checking in on another Amarillo native, John Rich's latest outing with Big & Rich, Here For The Party, has been edged out of the country charts this week. The album peaked at number nine on the Billboard 200 and at number two on the Top Country Albums chart.
