The athletic director at Canyon Independent School District announced his resignation this week.
Steve Williams, the Canyon ISD athletic director, announced his resignation this week in an email to coaches. In the email, Williams said that he felt that there were moves that he needed to make.
"There are opportunities that I would like to explore," said Williams. "Now felt like the right time to make the change."
Williams has served as athletic director since April of this year. Prior to that role, Williams was the principal at Randall High School.
