The co-owner of the Amarillo Venom indoor football team has been named the new athletic director for Canyon Independent School District.
Toby Tucker was named the school system's new athletic director during a board meeting on Monday. Canyon ISD trustees announced that Tucker would become the next athletic director for Canyon ISD, succeeding Steve Williams, who resigned in December.
Before coming to Canyon ISD, Tucker was superintendent of Claude Independent School District.
