The Dallas Cowboys will not be making it to the 2018 National Football League playoffs.
On Sunday night, the Dallas Cowboys felt their playoff dreams for this year come to a close with a 21-12 loss to the Seattle Seahawks at AT&T Stadium. Although the game marked the return of Cowboys star Ezekiel Elliott, quarterback Dak Prescott was sacked by the Seattle defensive line four times.
Following the game, Prescott told members of the press that the Seattle performance on Sunday that ended the Cowboys' playoff chase made him appreciate the league.
"It makes me respect this league, the game, the preparation and everything it takes to be great in this league so much more," Prescott told Fox Sports. "Having a first year like I did, I think you almost want to take things for granted. And then you come in the second year and a lot of things go against you and it’s tough."
The next game featuring the Dallas Cowboys will be this Sunday. Dallas will be taking on Philadelphia's Eagles in Philadelphia.
