Country star Dwight Yoakam's appearance at the Amarillo Civic Center on February 16th has sold hundreds of tickets during its first weekend of availability.
On Friday, the box office opened for Amarilloans looking to purchase tickets for Yoakam's February appearance in Amarillo. Even with a closed box office over the weekend, ticket sales for the show boomed selling off various sections of the Civic Center Auditorium. At the time of this article's writing, about 390 tickets remained for the show and the closest pair of seats in the auditorium is located in Row W of the arena.
Yoakam will be appearing in Amarillo in February as part of his ongoing tour. Yoakam is known for hits such as "Suspicious Minds," "Streets of Bakersfield," "Honky Tonk Man" and "A Thousand Miles From Nowhere." Yoakam is also a multi-Grammy Award winner for his multiple hits and albums.
Tickets for the concert range from $26.75 to $86.75 each.
