An Amarillo native's hit song is steadily climbing the Billboard County Airplay charts.
Aaron Watson's new hit from his album Vaquero, "Outta Style," is rapidly climbing the Billboard country charts, according to new rankings released by the company. In the new Billboard rankings, Watson's hit is sitting at number 12 on the airplay chart, up from number 14 last week. "Outta Style" is also sitting at number 27 on the Top County Songs chart, up from number 28 last week.
The song has been relatively unaffected over the past several weeks, following the entry of new juggernaut songs from Garth Brooks, Florida Georgia Line, Blake Shelton and Luke Combs, among others.
Boosting the song is the debut of Watson's new music video for "Outta Style." The new video debuted last week on CMT.
In addition to Watson's performance on the charts, another Amarillo native is also seeing success on the Billboard charts. Big & Rich featuring Big Kenny and Amarillo native John Rich is seeing success with its new single "California." "California" is sitting number 37 on the Top County Songs chart and at number 20 on the Airplay chart.
