Buddy DeFord to Seek Re-Election to County Commission

Randall County Commissioner Buddy DeFord is seeking re-election to the commissioners' court in 2018.

DeFord, a Republican, filed the paperwork on Thursday to seek re-election to the Randall County Commission in 2018. DeFord is one of three members of the Commissioners' Court that is up for re-election. Commissioner Mark C. Benton and Judge Ernie Houdashell are also seeking re-election to the Commissioners' Court.

According to county election records, DeFord has served on the county commission since being elected in 2002. Since that election, DeFord has won re-election in each of his appearances on the ballot.

Candidates have until Monday to file for a spot on the ballot. Primary election day is March 6th.
