James Schenck, announced candidate for City Council Place 2, will be holding his formal announcement on Wednesday.
Schenck, a local insurance provider, will be announcing his candidacy at the Comfort Suites 12.
Schenck says that his campaign announcement will be about making Amarillo “strong” and “greater.” Schenck says that his announcement will include a formal press conference and a question and answer session for attendees.
Schenck’s only announced opponent for Place 2, thus far, is Freda Powell.
Schenck’s announcement will be held on Wednesday, February 15th at 3pm. The event will be held at the Comfort Suites 12 at 12 Western Crossing.
