Panhandle Days at Texas Capitol

Several Amarilloans and community leaders were in Austin today, taking part in Panhandle Days in Austin.

The purpose of Panhandle Days, according to the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce, is to deliver a unified message to legislators on important issues in the panhandle.

Several local residents flew to Austin today to take part in the event. Among these residents were Amarillo College Vice President Mark White and several Amarillo College board members, who posted a photograph online during the trip.
