The Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Center in Amarillo has announced a rainwater harvesting workshop.
The workshop will feature world-renowned water harvester Billy Kniffen. Kniffen will be the special guest presenter for the event.
“We are so excited to get Billy Kniffen to join us and expect he will draw a quick crowd as those interested in capturing their rainwater come to hear from the expert,” Austin Voyles, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service agent for Potter County, said.
Each attendee will also leave with their own rain barrel after building it.
Space is limited, so interested attendees are asked to RSVP by contacting 806-373-0713 or Austin.voyles@ag.tamu.edu.
The workshop will be held on May 13th, beginning at 9am and ending at 12pm.
Admission is $20 for those who RSVP before May 5th. For those who did not RSVP, admission will be $40 at the door.
