Senator Ted Cruz has joined Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) in calling for a repeal of the Affordable Care Act.
The senators are calling for a "full repeal" of the Affordable Care Act, according to The Hill. Cruz took to Twitter in his call for the repeal, saying that the 2015 repeal language that was passed by Congress should be back on the floor. Paul also backed the 2015 repeal language, saying that Congressional Republicans should not support "Obamacare Lite."
As Cruz and Paul call for the repeal, the House Freedom Caucus has also voted to oppose the Affordable Care Act's repeal if it does not go to the extent of the 2015 repeal measure.
