St. Patrick's Day 2017 in Amarillo

It is St. Patrick's Day and many local residents will be celebrating across the city.

One of the most publicized events for the day's festivities includes a pub crawl, which is organized by the Amarillo Firefighters' Pipes and Drums. The pub crawl began at 4pm today at the Buffalo Wild Wings at 1-40 and Airport Boulevard. The crawl will then lead to Bubba's 33 at 6pm, Hummers at 7pm and the Texas Firehouse at 8pm.

Other local happenings include events at Leftwood's, Austin's Texas Pub, Midnight Rodeo and Bar Z Winery. Cowboy Gelato Smokehouse will also be hosting a "green beer" event.

A few local residents will also be celebrating the St. Patrick's Day holiday by attending the Aaron Lewis concert at the Amarillo Civic Center.
