The Amarillo Association of Realtors has announced its endorsements for the upcoming May 6th elections.
The association has announced that it will be endorsing Ginger Nelson for mayor, Freda Powell for City Council Place 2, Eddy Sauer for City Council Place 3, and Howard Smith for City Council Place 4. Neither Elisha Demerson or challenger Elaine Hays won the association's nomination for City Council Place 1.
The endorsements followed interviews and questionnaires with all of the candidates seeking city council seats.
