The WTAMU Lady Buffs will be appearing at the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship Tournament, beginning tomorrow.
The Lady Buffs will be making their fourth straight appearance at the tournament and its 23rd overall appearance in the history of the program. The Lady Buffs are headed to Pueblo, Colorado for the NCAA South Central Regional. The Lady Buffs will be facing the number 5 seed Regis University at Colorado State-Pueblo.
The Lady Buffs are 32-22 in their championship appearances, according to gobuffsgo.com. The Lady Buffs have had six Elite Eight appearances with two national champion runner-up finishes. The Lady Buffs were runner-ups in 1987 and 2014.
General admission tickets for the game are available for $10 each. The game will be streamed on 98.7 Jack FM.
The game is scheduled to begin at 9pm.
