League of Women Voters to Hold Forum

The Amarillo League of Women Voters will be holding a candidate forum on Thursday night at the Amarillo College Downtown Campus (1314 S. Polk).

The League of Women Voters will be holding a forum for candidates seeking places on the Amarillo City Council, Amarillo ISD Board of Trustees, and Amarillo College Board of Regents. All candidates seeking these positions have been invited to the forum.

Voters will be able to hear short introductions from the candidates and will be able to submit questions. Voters will also have the opportunity to mingle with candidates prior to the start of the forum.

Candidates seeking various offices in the May 6th election will also have campaign materials on hand to better educate voters about themselves and their platforms.

As always, KGNC host James Hunt will moderate the League of Women Voters forum.

The forum will be held on Thursday, April 20th. The forum will begin at 6pm.
