Geoffrey Thomas to Sign Book at Amarillo's B&N

Author Geoffrey Thomas will be in Amarillo next Saturday to sign his new book The Wayward Astronomer.

Thomas' book tells the story of Hal Adhil and Miri Rodgers. Hal and Miri are best friends and Hal has a superpower that allows him to see all wavelengths of light. Sal uses his superpower only when he is free from prying eyes.

The book, which was published in March, was made possible through a KickStarter campaign. Thomas' campaign through KickStarter had an initial goal of $18,000 and raised $32,309. The project was backed by 484 people.

According to his biography, Thomas is from Odessa, Texas. As a 28-year-old entrepreneur and engineer, Thomas penned the book and self-published. This is the first book published by Thomas.

The book signing will be held on Saturday, May 27th at the Amarillo Barnes & Noble Booksellers at 2415 Soncy Road.

The signing will begin at 1pm.
