Of all of the politicians that I have seen in my time in the panhandle, (former Amarillo City Councilman) Randy Burkett is one of the few ones I miss.
I like Mr. Burkett because he tells it like it is. He ruffled a few feathers here and there but I trusted him more than anybody else sitting up there on the city council.
Burkett is not sitting up there anymore but I want to remind everybody that we have an election for congress next year and if he ran, Randy Burkett would sure have my vote.
