Amarillo Police Chief Ed Drain held an awards ceremony on July 13th.
The award ceremony was APD's second quarter awards ceremony.
Officers Matthew Brown and John Chapman were awarded the Department Citation Award for their actions on a June 1st call.
Officer Andrew Kreusel and Corporal Evan Burner were awarded the APD Life Saving Award for their actions on a June 14th call. Officer Christopher Kidd and Corporal Thomas Newton were awarded the APD Life Saving Award for their actions on June 14th and Officer Christopher Davis and Officer Amanda Williams were awarded the APD Life Saving Award for their actions February 5th.
Beth Thurman and Christina Harrison were awarded the APD Education Award and Tammy Peavy was awarded the APD Service Citation.
