A Thursday afternoon grass fire is under control.
Reports came in yesterday that a grass fire has started near Rick Husband International Airport and was 0 percent contained. The fire was contained some time after crews arrived, but crews still fought to put out hot spots from the fire.
The Amarillo Fire Department and Potter County Fire Department were on hand to battle the blaze.
