Parker Bridwell, a native of Hereford, led the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to victory on Sunday night over the Tampa Bay Rays, 4-3.
Bridwell pitched 6.1 innings for the Angels and ended up striking out eight batters. Bridwell was taken off the mound some time after giving up a run to the Rays, and reliever David Hernandez picked up the win for the Los Angeles Angels.
Bridwell's season ERA now stands at a 3.18 in 7 appearances for the Angels.
